Hello!
I'm Donna, and I've been a Humanist Celebrant since 2014. I am the owner of Lehigh Valley Celebrants, located in north eastern Pennsylvania, and the director of Celebrant Academy.
As a small business owner, it was clear from early on that taking time for my self would be difficult. But over the years, it was evident that I REALLY NEEDED TO HAVE TIME TO MYSELF! I love traveling, and found myself in Scotland, embracing the natural beauty of the  countryside, as well as enjoying getting to know the people. When I retired from my teaching career, I celebrated with a month in a small coastal village in northern Scotland. I had only been officiating a few years at that point, and was grateful for the restorative power of the time off in this rugged and incredibly beautiful country. 

Fast forward to my work at Celebrant Academy. When talking with students and graduates, there was an overwhelming interest in taking time together as celebrants to have a retreat. Scotland was a location that many were interested in - and it had the added benefit of allowing us to collaborate with the celebrants who live and work in this gorgeous country.  Our first retreat was planned and was sold out overnight! 

From the idea that we all crave the restorative benefits that come with 'getting away', Celebrant Retreats was created.  Are you an entrepreneur?
